About Me
My name is Jessie Pitt and i was born in Melbourne, Australia. I live in various places, moving between Falls Creek, Melbourne and Europe, mainly Austria. I work as a ski instructor, ski race coach and ski guide both in Australia and Austria. I focused on art at school and went on to study at Tafe in Melbourne. Graduating with an Associate Diploma of Visual Art majoring in printmaking. After Tafe I weighed up the idea of studying further but chose instead to travel!


Drawing Mediums
I use different mediums and often all together. Such as compressed and willow charcoal, pastel, contè, acrylic paint, pencil, drawing ink. I am mainly drawing on paper but also paint on canvas. I draw from photos, as the way I draw is time consuming and with rapidly changing light and cold temperatures drawing outside is not so pracical. So i carry a small camera in my pocket ready to capture anything that inspires me and also photos from friends...


Exhibitions Australia and Austria
I have had exhibitions both in Falls Creek Australia and St.Anton am Arlberg in Austria. Falls Creek; 2 at Milch, 1 at Nelse Lodge, 2 at The Man,2 at Silverski.. Austria; 2 at the Raffeisen Bank, St.Anton am Arlberg and also at the Muttekopf Hutte.
