This website contains drawings and paintings of mine from various times and places in my life. I have been drawing and painting for as long as I remember and remains a constant motivation in my life.
I am fascinated by the effect of light and shadow and often find myself not drawing mountains, but light and shadow that become mountains when i stand back. My drawings seem to come into focus from a distance and not always right up close. I find that the natural beauty of our planet offers limitless motivation and material to draw, that light and shadow is what defines what we see into shapes and things that we recognize and can change the mood and shape of what we see in so many ways.
